Gynecology and Obstetrics
Obstetrics and Gynecology specialists focus on the health of women before, during and after childbearing years, diagnosing and treating conditions of the reproductive system and associated disorders. Besides prenatal advice and monitoring the development of the child, the health of the mother is vital. Her weight during pregnancy plays a central role and allows conclusions to be drawn about irregularities over the course of her pregnancy.

The multi-faceted talent with network capability.
During pregnancy a mother's waist circumference steadily increases. On a classic column scale, the column and the display hinder the weighing process as the fetus grows throughout pregnancy. Either the patient cannot stand in the middle of the platform and therefore faces the risk of falling, or her abdomen touches the column.
The seca 703 digital column scale with wireless transmission solves this problem. A patient can now stand on the platform backwards so that her abdomen does not get in the way during the weighing process. As the recommended weight gain is based on BMI, the integrated measuring rod seca 220 makes the process effortless. After the patient has been weighed and her height has been entered, the display automatically calculates the BMI.
Measurements can then be wirelessly transferred to a seca wireless printer or via the software seca emr flash 101 to an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
